When a woman comes up to him in a bar, telling him he’s a father and asks him to sign his rights away there and then, his whole world is turned upside down, and he knows he’s about to have the fight of his life to have the little girl in his life. Nate is living his bachelor life, travelling the country for work, but when he arrives in Seattle, he begins to feel a bit restless. Nate had intrigued me since reading Fallen Crest in 2014, so I knew his book was going to be a good one, and I was right. You’ve had hints of these characters in the Crew series, but seeing Nate, Mason, Logan, and Sam again made me so happy, it felt like I was returning home to old friends. I adore her standalones, but I didn’t quite realise how happy I would be returning to the Fallen Crest world so fully as you do in Nate. Tijan’s books are some of my favourites, and I will say it time and time again.
